Yarra Ranges Umpires Association (YRUA) is a key stakeholder in the Outer East Football & Netball League. Umpires in Australia Rules Football play a key role in one of most popular sports in Australia and our Association is proud to be a part of this iconic Australian Institution.
During the football season, across both junior and senior competitions in the outer east, our Association provides Field, Boundary and Goal Umpires to over 80 games – each and every weekend. It’s a fantastic way for our valued partners to give back to the community and be seen by spectators each and every weekend throughout the footy season!
We are looking for sponsorship partners who want to give back to their local regions by helping our Association develop and promote umpiring in the great game of AFL.
Like all other footy clubs, we want to support and strengthen the great game of AFL at the “grass roots” community level, and one of the challenges we face in doing this is the recruitment and retention of young men and women to our sport.
Through the support of sponsors, we can reduce many of the overhead costs that often make it difficult for our umpires, allowing us to channel investment into the recruitment, fitness, training, and development for our group.

We umpire over 80 AFL matches across 31 towns in the Yarra Valley and Outer East each and every weekend during the season.
